Wendy Mullin is a certified End of Life Doula and a licensed Funeral Director in Los Angeles. She founded Departing Dearly and Good Mourning in 2019 after her mother died and she found herself unprepared and uneducated on what happens at the end of life.

Her background is in the fashion industry where she founded the clothing brand Built by Wendy in New York in 1991 with four flagship stores, and a series of instructional sewing books. In 2010, the brand developed into a multi-disciplinary studio with projects in film and interiors. Her interest in sustainability led her to develop Kiosk Mobile Utilities, a cleantech startup that brings support to off grid events. She is a member of the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator and Women in Cleantech and Sustainability.
